Reading is a cornerstone of the CDF Freedom Schools® program.  The curriculum emphasizes the importance and the joy of reading. Scholars are engaged in hands-on activities and are introduced to books that feature heroes, heroines, and settings that reflect the scholar’s own cultural images and history. We offer well-planned character building curriculum, music, dance, martial arts, art, sports, and other culturally enriching activities.
